In a welcome address, presented by Lagos branch, they thanked God for sustaining them through every season, despite the challenges of life and the plans of the enemies of righteousness to frustrate and destroy the branch. They commended their indomitable, ageless and ever caring father, His Grace, the Most Rev Prof Daddy Hezekiah, the founder, Leader and Archbishop of the Church for his fervent prayers, undiluted word of God and above all for his strong and Cordial relationship with the Living God which have continued to attract victory and multiple blessings of God to the Church without which they would not have been alive to celebrate. They thanked Him for His exemplary lifestyle for teaching them self-discipline, contentment and other virtues that distinguish them among their contemporaries in the secular world and proving to them the reality of God with holiness, righteousness and fear of God.

They appreciate the Guest of Honour, the Executive President of the Church, Amb Dr Onyinyeomachukwu Mon, Jp, who stand to represent Her father, the Chief Guest of Honour, His Grace the Most Rev Prof Daddy Hezekiah. They welcomed Amb Dr Onyinyeomachukwu with great enthusiasm stating that her revival visit to the branch in November 2022 was marked by Countless testimonies, breakthrough, divine transformation and mighty miracles, signs and wonders. They applauded her for championing the divine transformation of the entire church and her extraordinary exploits which was necessitated by her ingenuity, divine initiatives, innovations and inclusive leadership.

Lagos branch they said was established in 1985 as a fellowship centre with eight to ten members meeting in the home of a brother who had received divine healing through the prayers of His Grace, the most Rev Prof Daddy Hezekiah whose love and unwavering support and financial backing has made Lagos branch experience divine transformation as the branch own several plots of land in various parts of the town including an exquisitely beautiful temple building as well as other properties including their permanent place of worship which were sorely and legally purchased and fully paid by His Grace, the most Rev Prof Daddy Hezekiah.

In a brief but mighty sermon to mark the great occasion, Rev Nwabueze Ibezim citied the books of Revelation 2 and Joshua 24. He told the Lagos branch to imitate the Ephesians who were noted of their toils, patient, endurance and how they could not bear with evil men who have reprobate minds. He urged them according to the book of Joshua 24 vs 14 to serve God in sincerity and in faithfulness, putting away every evil that draw them from following the Lord. He pleaded with them to be careful with the Lord so that He will always answer their prayers and not turn to do them wrong after doing them much good

Speaking during the occasion the Executive President of the Church, and the Guest of Honour Amb Dr Onyinyeomachukwu emphasized on the need for Children of God to live righteously as salvation is the bed rock of Christianity. She told Christians to always claim the promises of God at all time as God always honour His words and watch over them to come to fulfillment. She regretted at the rate people now die and ask children of God to always claim what is written in Psalm 118 vs 17 “I shall not die but I shall live and recount the deeds of the Lord.” She heartily congratulated the Lagos branch of the Church on her 40 years anniversary. She commended them for the love, unity and oneness that exist among them and also among their leaders.
